About Me: Anesa Hosein

Originally hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, I now live in the UK as a Lecturer in Higher Education at the University of Surrey. I also have previously worked at the University of Guyana, University of the West Indies, The Open University and Liverpool Hope University.

Originally, this research journal documented my ups and downs as I did my 1 +3 PhD programme at the Open University in the Institute of Educational Technology.

However, recently I have started to blog my thoughts on Higher Education particularly with regards to academic practice which reflects my teaching role and research. Being a recent mother, I’m also interesting how motherhood is affected by policy and procedures in academia.
